Office 365 Account Entitlement

We utilise industry leading Microsoft Office 365 Enterprise For Non-Profits platform for our email, document storage, collaboration and online conferencing tools. With the features that Office 365 provides, as a District we are able to provide it to our Groups and Units for free. Equivalent business tools and hosting would normally cost thousands of pounds year.

All adult volunteers who are members of Groups/Units In Preston & District Scouts,

and full members of the Scout Association are eligible for a Preston & District Scouts Office365 account and email, i.e:

  • Group Scout Leaders and Assistant Group Scout Leaders.
  • Section Leaders.
  • Assistant Section Leaders.
  • Section Assistants.
  • District and Group Executive Members
  • District Commissioners
  • District Team
  • Active Support Managers and members

The following are not eligible:

  • Occasional helpers

Please bear in mind that an account cannot be issued until the DBS of the user has come back clear
